With the continuous advancement of digital technology, mHealth has become more and more popular.
More and more people own mobile devices and other electronic devices. Therefore, the implementation of healthcare applications could be advantageous in helping healthcare professionals to manage chronic diseases and modify the behaviors of patients, thus providing an improvement in clinical practice. In addition, prevention and health education can also improve with the right apps.
The challenges are the lack of in-depth knowledge of medical professionals about what a health application is, what criteria should be taken when choosing an application, knowing how to explain to the patient the benefit of using an application, and how to relate to the doctor-patient more interactively.
